Congratulations to Rachel Ellman and Jordan Spatz, both HST Bioastronautics graduate students, for winning the Runner-Up Award for Best Poster at the 2014 NASA Human Research Program Workshop in Galveston. Rachel's poster was titled "Evaluation of the Hindlimb Unloading Model in Mice as an Analog for Spaceflight Effets on the Musculoskeletal System".  Jordan's poster was titled "RNASeq Analysis of Gene Expression in Murine Hind Limb Unloading Disuse Induced Bone Loss".  Dr. Mary Bouxxsein supervised both.  The overall student winner was Kara Beaton of Johns Hopkins, an MIT Course 16 alum, supervised by Mark Shelhamer, who received his PhD in Aero-Astro at the MVL.
